Pediatric and Adult Neuropsychological Evaluations

A neuropsychological evaluation is an assessment of brain function which indirectly yields information about the brain's structural and functional integrity. 


Domains of assessment include:

  • Overall intellectual organization
  • Executive Function
  • Reasoning/abstract thinking
  • Attention and concentration
  • Learning
  • Processing Speed
  • Memory in different modalities
  • Language
  • Perception
  • Sensorimotor Functions
  • Mood and behavior
  • Activities of Daily Living.


The purpose of the evaluation includes:

  • To establish a baseline
  • To determine strengths and weaknesses
  • To help with diagnosis and differential diagnosis
  • To help with treatment and interventions
